14 steps
Prep:5minCook:15min
This is literally what I make when regular ramen just isn’t doing enough lol. It’s super easy but tastes like you actually tried, and the steak on top makes it sooo much better.

Instructions

Step 1
Pat your steak dry and season both sides really well with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Get a skillet HOT with a little bit of oil. Put the steak down and leave it alone!! You want it to actually sit there long enough to get that good crust.
Step 3
Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side, depending on how thick your steak is and how you like it cooked.
Step 4
Toward the end, add the butter and garlic to the pan and spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak.
Step 5
Take it out and let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Do not immediately cut into that poor steak lol.
Step 6
Now make the ramen:
Step 7
Cook your ramen according to the package, but save a little bit of the ramen water before draining.
Step 8
I don’t like mine super soupy for this, so I drain most of the water.
Step 9
Add the noodles back into the pot with the seasoning packet, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder and red pepper flakes.
Step 10
Add a little splash of ramen water and mix everything together until the noodles are nice and saucy.
Step 11
Taste it!!! If it needs more soy sauce, add it. If you want it spicy, throw some sriracha in there. I really just keep messing with it until it tastes good lol.
Step 12
Put it together:
Step 13
Put the ramen in a bowl.
Step 14
Slice your rested steak against the grain and lay it right over the noodles. And PLEASE pour whatever steak juices are left on the cutting board right over top because we’re not wasting those.
