Instructions
Step 1
Cook beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and chili powder
Step 2
Optional: Blend half (or all) of the kidney beans with a can of tomato sauce
Step 3
After meat is brown, drain grease. Mix in brown sugar and tomato paste.
Step 4
Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, beef broth, and tomato sauce then stir
Step 5
Optional: add some Worcestershire sauce or chili sauce
Step 6
Simmer covered for about 25-30 mins and season as desired stirring occasionally
Step 7
Add water if too thick or simmer longer if too thin
Step 8
Top with sour cream, cheese, and crackers as desired
Step 9
Serve with peanut butter sandwiches
