Instructions

Step 1
1. Pat chicken thighs dry. Coat with olive oil, 2 tsp Slap Ya Mama and 1 tsp smoked paprika. Rest for 10 minutes.
Step 2
2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, working in batches, until cooked through (at least 165°F internally; 175°F is a good target for tender thighs). Remove and rest for 5 minutes.
Step 3
3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, bell pepper and onion to the same skillet. Sauté for 4–5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Step 4
4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up the browned bits. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in half-and-half, Parmesan, ¾ tsp Slap Ya Mama and 1 tsp smoked paprika. Gently simmer for 3–4 minutes without boiling. Taste before adding seasoning.
Step 5
5. Cook angel hair just short of al dente according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
Step 6
6. Add angel hair to the cream sauce in batches. Toss gently, adding reserved pasta water a few tablespoons at a time until creamy.
Step 7
7. Slice chicken thighs and place over pasta. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Serve immediately.
