ScoFo’s Cajun Alfredo with sausage and crispy chicken

Instructions

Step 1
Heat water to boiling for pasta
Step 2
In large nonstick skillet, brown sausage slices then remove from skillet
Step 3
Add onion and cook until tender
Step 4
Add butter to skillet and melt
Step 5
Add 2 tblsp flour to skillet and cook for 2 minutes
Step 6
Add heavy cream, garlic, sausage, 2 tsp Cajun seasoning and 1 tsp black pepper and 1/4 cup parsley to combine and simmer until starting to thicken
Step 7
Add Parmesan and stir until melted
Step 8
Add chicken stock to thin until desired consistency
Step 9
Coat thin chicken breasts with seasoned flour, then egg then panko
Step 10
Add chicken to 350 degree oil and cook until browned
Step 11
Add sauce to cooked pasta to combine
Step 12
Serve chicken on top of pasta
