Instructions

Step 1
For the glaze, break the white chocolate into small chunks and place them into the microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave in short 10 seconds bursts, stirring constantly every 10 seconds. When melted add 30ml sunflower oil and mix until combined. Set aside to cool a bit.
Step 2
Melt the milk chocolate in the same way and add 5ml sunflower oil. Mix until combined and transfer to the piping bag.
Step 3
Slice the date lengthwise and remove the seed. Add the nut in the middle and close the date.
Step 4
Freeze the dates for at least 20 minutes before dipping them in chocolate. It will help the chocolate to set up faster.
Step 5
Using your hands, fork, tooth-peek or wooden skewer dip the date into the white chocolate, wait until excess drips off then repeat. ( you may need to repeat it a few times)
Step 6
Transfer dates to the small tray lined with parchment and place them in the fridge to set a bit.
Step 7
Then drizzle milk chocolate on top and return them back to fridge to settle.
