Hands down one of my favorite shrimp pasta recipes!! This recipe I picked up from an Italian restaurant i used to work at back in college and it was love at first bite. You MUST give this recipe a go, you will definitely be adding this to your meal rotations. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do ❤️

Instructions
Step 1
Cook mafaldine pasta to package instructions (boil about 7-8 minutes in salted water)
Step 2
While the pasta cooks, sautee the onions and garlic in cooking oil or butter until they start to brown.
Step 3
Once they begin to brown, add juice of half the lemon, cream cheese, tomato paste, pasta water and heavy cream along with all spices.
Step 4
Cover the pot and allow the sauce to simmer stirring in between every few minutes. Add pasta water as needed. Also, if you don't like having onion texture in the sauce feel free to puree it and add it back to the pot.
Step 5
Add cleaned and peeled shrimp to the sauce and cover and cook until they turn red/ orange. Add juice of half a lemon.
Step 6
Add the cooked pasta and mix well.
Step 7
Garnish with parsley, parmesan and chili flakes. Extra lemon juice too if you like.
