2 lbs chicken thighs, cut into serving size

1 head garlic, minced

1 onion chopped

5 tbsp butter

3 tbsp oyster sauce

1 cup chicken broth

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

3 tbsp oil, divided

2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnishing

DIRECTIONS:
Step 16
1. In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Sear chicken skin down until lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.

2. Flip chicken to cook other side.Cover with lid and let it coook over medium heat for 3 mins or until cooked through.

3. Flip chicken then cover with lid and let cook it cook for 1 min. Remove from the pan. Set aside.

4. In the same pan, remove oil leaving 2 tbsp. Add onion. Cook until translucent.

5. Add garlic, cook until lightly browned.

6. Add back the chicken.

7. Add butter. Stir until all chicken are well coated with butter

8. Add oyster sauce. Stir until all chicken are well coated with sauce.

9. Add chicken broth and brown sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.

10. Let it simmer uncovered over medium heat until sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.

11. Garnish with chopped parsley.

12. Continue to simmer until it reaches your preferred consistency.
