Instructions
Step 1
1. Drain and rinse beans, place in a separate bowl, fill until water covers beans.
Step 2
2. Add everything but bacon (veggies and spices) to the bowl.
Step 3
3. Dice and cook bacon in pot until a little underdone. You don't really want them crispy but I just don't trust bacon to cook in water over the alloted time.

4. Add in everything from the bowl.
Step 5
5. Bring to boil, simmer 20-30mins stirring occasionally.
