Step 1
Heat oven to 350°.
Step 2
In small dish, stir together oats, syrup, and salt until oats are coated with liquid. Spread sticky mixture out on small parchment paper-lined baking sheet in a thin layer: the oats should be touching each other but not in any piles. Bake for 10 minutes and check: you want it toasted light golden at edges- this usually takes three more minutes but it’s safer to check. Remove from oven and let brittle cool completely on sheet, then lift off in one sheet and break into chunks.
