Cream butter and powdered sugar

Add in almond and vanilla extracts and salt

Sift in four and nuts
Step 4
Refrigerate for two hours until dough is firm (best if allowed to rest overnight)
Step 5
Preheat oven to 325°F; Roll dough into roughly four dozen balls; bake 25 minutes; remove from oven; whilst still hot, roll baked balls in powdered sugar. Sprinkle with coloured sugar for festive occasions.
