Instructions

Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions

While water boils and the pasta cooks, preheat 1.5 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet. When shimmering and fragrant, add tomatoes and their juice, along with chopped garlic, olives, and capers.
Step 3
Once pasta is nearly cooked, at the verdi stage, drain it and save a cup or so of the cooking liquid. Add pasta and a few tablespoons of the liquid to the sauce and sautรฉ for a minute it so to coat the pasta.
Step 4
If the sauce does not thicken, add more cooking liquid a tablespoon or so at a time, cooking for 30 seconds after each spoonful to check the thickness.
Step 5
Top with chopped parsley
