Instructions
Step 1
In a pan put water to cook with salt. Add the pasta when it’s boiling.
Step 2
cut the onion and cook it on medium heat in olive oil for 3mins with the two cloves of garlic (peeled and whole).
Step 3
Cut the cherry tomatoes in 2 and throw them in the onions with the basil. Then add a 1/4 cup of pasta water and cook over medium heat stirring occasionally for about 5mins.
Step 4
Salt to taste and add the cooked pasta, then stir.
Step 5
Remove the pan from the heat and add the parmesan cheese (to prevent the parmesan from clumping, stir at medium temperature).
Step 6
You can top with basil if you want. Bon appétit !
