Ingredients

¼ teaspoonsvegetable oil
6boneless skinless chicken breast halves
cut into 1/2-inch cubes
4Granny Smith apples
cored and sliced into 1/2-inch wedges
¾ cupdry white wine
¾ cupchicken broth
⅓ cupbrown sugar
¼ cupcider vinegar
3 tablespoonscornstarch
2 tablespoonsworcestershire sauce
½ teaspoonsalt
1 teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet.
Step 2
Add chicken and brown on all sides.
Step 3
Add apple slices, sauté 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Add ½ the wine and chicken broth, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10 minutes.
Step 5
Mix remaining wine and broth together with remaining ingredients; add to skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
