Caramelized Banana [SSC]
I adore caramelized bananas because they transform already delicious bananas into something completely decadent with only minor ingredient additions and minimal effort. Even though it's no really an everyday smoothie due to its extra effort, save this blend to eat as a special dessert, or perhaps gift it to that fancy someone you're trying to impress--it's quite the treat.

Instructions
Step 1
In a medium bowl, dust the bananas with the coconut sugar and toss to coat. Heat the coconut oil in a small saute pan over medium heat until melted. Add the bananas and cook, flipping occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until the bananas have browned and the sugar has carmelized. Remove from the heat, transfer the contents to a bowl. Pour any remaining liquid from the pan on top of the bananas, and place in the freezer for 15 minutes to chill. When it's time, remove the bananas from the freezer and transfer to a blender. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until frosty and smooth. Being very dessert-like, it is unlikely you will need to boost the sweetness, but taste the smoothie and add some if desired.
