1 cupsour cream

Instructions
Step 1
Heat oil and cook onions until they become translucent. Add paprika and cook for a minute. Add chicken and cook for a bit but don’t let onions burn. Cover with water, add salt to taste and simmer until chicken is tender. Mix flour with sour cream, and add to chicken. Cook until the gravy thickens. Serve on nockerl or noodles.

Step 2
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a big bowl. Make a well in flour mixture. Break in the eggs. Pour milk into well and mix with a wooden spoon until a fairly stiff dough is formed. Beat dough until it is smooth and comes off the spoon.
Step 3
In the meantime bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cut the dough with a teaspoon into the boiling water. The spoon should be dipped into the hot water with each nockerl. Boil the nockerl until they come to the top. Drain. Serve.
