Instructions
Step 1
Cut yams into 1/4 in slices and layer in baking dish.
Step 2
In a sauce pan, melt butter and add sage, bourbon, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until incorporated. Pour it over your yams.
Step 3
Cover and bake at 350°F. After 30 minutes, remove foil, baste with the liquid from the pan, and bake for another 30 minutes, basting one more time after 15 minutes.
Step 4
Garnish with toasted hazelnuts.
