Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cook pasta for a few minutes less than packet instructions & drain.

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a fry pan, cook onion, garlic and mince until browned. Add 1 1/2 cups of pasta sauce and simmer for 10 mins.

Mix cottage cheese, egg, 1/2 the cheese, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper in a bowl until well combined. Then add this mixture and cooked pasta to the fry pan and mix to combine.
Step 4
Spread remaining pasta sauce over the bottom of a baking dish. Transfer pasta mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes and for another 5 uncovered or until cheese is golden.
