Instructions

Step 1
Start by prepping your veg by dicing the onion, pepper and garlic.
Step 2
Then heat the olive oil in a medium hot pan and add the onion and pepper and fry for 3-4 mins to soften.
Step 3
Then add the diced garlic and fry for a further minute before spooning in the harissa paste and stirring and frying for a further minute.
Step 4
Then pour in the passata and stir everything together before adding all of the seasoning.
Step 5
Simmer on low for 10 mins to thicken the sauce.
Step 6
In the mean time cook your pasta in salted water for about 8 mins.
Step 7
Once the sauce has thickened, add in the reserved pasta water to loosen up and then add in the drained cooked pasta.
Step 8
Stir everything to combine and then pour the pasta into an oven proof dish and level out with a spoon.
Step 9
Sprinkle over the grated mozzarella in an even layer and then lay down the pepperoni slices.
Step 10
Place in the oven at fan 200° C for 20 mins.
Step 11
In the mean time, combine the honey, hot sauce and chilli flakes in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer before removing off the heat.
Step 12
Take the dish out of the oven and lay down the torn basil leaves before drizzling over the hot honey sauce.
Step 13
Place the dish back in the oven for 5 mins before removing and serving into four equal portions.
Step 14
