Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter in skillet and sauté peppers for 10 min. Add onions and garlic; cook for 5 more min. Cook and drain beef. Add to the peppers, onions and garlic to burger. Stir in cumin, basil, cayenne pepper, black pepper & chili powder. Stir in can of crushed tomatoes, beef broth, wine, tomato paste and salt. Simmer covered 1 1/2 hours or cook on high for 2 hours in crock pot. Add beans and let simmer for additional 45 min.
