Ingredients

1white onion
2 tablespoonsminced ginger
6cloves garlic
minced
1.5 lbchicken thighs
cut into bite-sized pieces
¼ cupplain yogurt
1 teaspoonsalt
to taste
1 tablespoongaram masala
1 teaspoonground turmeric
1 teaspoonground coriander
1 teaspoonground cumin
1 teaspoonchili powder
1 teaspoonpaprika
cilantro
1 cupheavy cream
1can of tomato paste
Instructions
Step 1
Wash your chicken thighs with vinegar and lime (cut into bite sized pieces)
Step 2
Add your yogurt, minced garlic/ginger and all your seasonings and mix. You will let the chicken marinate for 1-2 hours
Step 3
After chicken is done marinating, add olive oil to a pan and cook your chicken for 5 minutes
Step 4
Add in your mixture of minced onion/garlic/tomatoes and a can of tomato paste
Step 5
Add in your heavy cream and squeeze half a lemon
Step 6
Lower the heat and simmer for 25 minutes (make sure the chicken is cooked through)
Step 7
Garnish with cilantro, plain yogurt and serve with white rice and naan bread
