Instructions

Step 1
Cook lentils on the bouillon for 20 minutes
Step 2
At the same time chop carrots, onion and potatoes in dice.
Step 3
Grill the ground beef, add achiote, a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the chopped vegetables and boil for 15 minutes in 3 cups of water
Step 4
Cook rice in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes
Step 5
Mix cooked lentils with vegetables and beef. Simmer for 5 minutes in low heat.
Step 6
Serve lentils with a side of rice
