Step 1
Follow the directions on the pasta package for cooking.
Step 2
Put the avocado, olive oil, parmesan cheese, garlic, basil, and lime juice in a blender and puree until smooth while the pasta is cooking. You may either process it until it's creamy or leave it chunky.
Step 3
First possiblity : combine the avocado sauce with the pasta. Add parmesan cheese on top, if desired, and season with salt and pepper to suit. Or second possibility (my favourite one) : put pasta on medium heat in a pan, add a laddle of pasta water and mix the whole thing until the sauce coats the pasta. And season with salt, pepper and some grated parmesan. Enjoy!
