This is a very comforting chicken recipe with chicken thighs, garlic tomato sauce. Add a side of green beans and rice to complete the dish.

Step 1
For the chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, paprika and a dash of sumac Heat up the cast iron skillet with oil. Add shallots, chicken and garlic, a dash of red wine vinegar. Cook the chicken 3-4 minutes each side Then add your garlic tomato sauce (I used store bought by Barilla) feel free to use any kind or homemade. Turn the heat to low and let it all simmer for about 25 minutes.
Step 2
For the green beans:
Boil water. Add green beans and cook until they soften but still have a little crunch. Drain water and toss green beans with a little olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Step 3
For rice:
Use any kind of rice and season with salt. I used rice pilaf in a box. Cool according to instructions.
Step 4
That’s it! Serve with rice, top with chicken and sauce, green beans on the side.
