Instructions
Step 1
Season the steak well on both sides and leave in the freezer for 45 mins (it helps to thinly slice later)
Step 2
Dice the onion and put the side.
Step 3
Finely chop the garlic and parsley and add to a bowl with the butter. Mix well.
Step 4
Then thinly slice the steak into strips and get a pan on a medium high heat.
Step 5
Add the onions, season well and cook down. Add some butter and once they start to caramelise, put to the side.
Step 6
Butter your roll generously with the garlic butter and toast in the pan. Then remove and leave on the side.
Step 7
Finally, turn the heat up to high, add the steak and once seared on both sides, add the onions, top with the provolone cheese and cover.
Step 8
Once melted through, slide it all onto your bread and enjoy 👌
