Step 1
Heat cast iron over medium high heat- let warm up for a few minutes. Using a toothpick poke a hole in each of the peppers, this allows steam to release from the peppers.
Step 2
Once pan is hot, add sesame oil & shishito peppers. Cook without stirring for a minute or so to allow the peppers to char. Add in lemon juice & seasonings. Continue to cook for 3-5 minutes until perfectly charred & crispy.
Step 3
Garnish with sesame seeds & enjoy hot!
