Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Step 1
Lightly butter 10 oz. ramekin (4” across) with ¼T butter; set aside. (If needed, use muffin tins.)
Step 2
Place 2T of butter in sm. microwave safe bowl. Heat in microwave until just melted. Set aside.
Step 3
In med. bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, & cocoa powder in sm. bowl until thoroughly combined.
Step 4
Add melted butter, egg yolk, & vanilla; stir with spoon or rubber spatula to combine. (Do not overmix.)
Step 5
Fold in chocolate chips.
Step 6
Pour batter into prepared ramekin & spread into an even layer.
Step 7
Cook (30 min.) before removing. (Be careful not to overbake the brownie. The brownie will continue to firm up as it cools.)
Step 8
Cool (5 min.) before topping with ice cream & enjoying!
