Instructions

Step 1
Preheat a large nonstick pan to medium-high. Add oil. Once heated, add peppers and mushrooms. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute. Cook for 4-6 minutes until softened. Add ground beef. Cook 4-6 minutes until browned.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a small bowl whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes and ground pepper.
Step 3
Pour the sauce over the ground beef and veggies. Stir well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
Step 4
Add rice to pan and stir well, ensuring all rice is coated in sauce. Serve and enjoy.
