Step 1
Combine 1 cup of coconut milk with corn starch, salt, and dried basil and stir. Put a medium sized sauce pan on medium heat and add about a tsp. of your favorite cooking oil. Add chopped garlic and saute until it's golden brown.
Step 2
Make sure your coconut milk mixture isn't clumpy and pour it in. Stir the mixture for a minute or two. It will thicken quickly! If you want your sauce more creamy, you can always add more corn starch. Or if you want it to have a thinner consistency, add more coconut milk or water. Serve over low protein pasta!
