Instructions
Step 1
Wash and peal your apples. Chop 2 of them and slice the other one.
Step 2
In a bowl, add eggs, a pinch of salt and 12 spoons of sugar. Whisk for a couple of mins with a hand mixer.
Step 3
Add 12 spoons of oil and 12 spoons of milk and whisk for a couple more mins.
Step 4
Swift 12 spoons of flour in, 1 spoon of baking powder and 1 spoon of lemon juice and mix for another minute or until nice and smooth.
Step 5
Incorporate your 2 chopped apples and transfer everything to a cake pan, previously lined with parchment paper.
Step 6
Add your apple slices on top and bake in the oven for about 45 mins (fan 180C/360F).
Step 7
I always suggest to double check with a toothpick if the cake is ready or not. If it’s not ready yet, cover it with aluminium foil and cook for a little bit more.
Step 8
Serve your apple cake with some icing sugar on top.
