Instructions

Step 1
In a glass measuring cup, put 50 cc water and 1 tsp sugar and microwave about 30 sec. Mix until sugar dissolves. Touch the water to make sure warm, but not hot and put one pkg of yeast. (Fast rising yeast is good)
Step 2
In another glass, warm up milk for about 1-1 1/2 min in microwave and let it cool slightly.
Step 3
Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Make a hole in the center and mix in yeast which has risen, mix beaten egg and warm milk and add to flour, and softened butter. Then start kneading for about 10 min.
Step 4
Cover the dough with plastic so the top will not dry out, keep the dough in a warm, moist place and let the dough rise to double the size.
Step 5
When the dough has risen, punch it down and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Then, divide into small balls and make it into rolls.
Step 6
Place the rolls on a greased cookie sheet and brush egg water (beaten egg with little water and sugar) and let the roll rise to double or triple in size.
Step 7
Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
