Instructions

Step 1
1. Boil jumbo shells according to the package directions. Remove from the water and set aside.
Step 2
2. In a medium bowl, add ricotta, parmesan cheese. basil, egg and salt and pepper and mix well until combined. Add 1 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and mix well.

3. Stuff cooked shells with ricotta mixture

4. In a 9x13 baking dish, coat the bottom of the dish with 1 cup of spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce.
Step 5
5. Add stuffed shells to the baking dish. Top with remaining sauce. Add remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil.
Step 6
6. Cover with foil and bake on 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover the dish, then bake until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
