Ingredients
4 servings

2 lbsground beef
or a mix of lean ground beef and pork

1onion
finely diced

1 cupbeef stock

2 cupsfresh bread crumbs

2eggs

4 tblsketchup

2 tblsworcestershire sauce

1 tspsalt

½ tsppepper

2 tspgarlic powder
For the Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 425F

Step 2
Saute onions until soft and caramelized.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl combine sauteed onion, bread crumbs, beef stock, eggs, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.

Step 4
Add beef and mix with your hand until evenly mixed and thoroughly combined.
Step 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper


Step 6
Shape 20 meatballs the size of golf balls and use the remaining meat mixture to shape a loaf about 6” wide and 3-4” high.
Step 7
Place loaf and meatballs on the parchment lined sheet and bake for 40 minutes total

Step 8
Remove meatballs after 20 minutes of cooking.
Step 9
Remove loaf after 30 minutes, coat with the glaze
Step 10
Return to the oven for 10 minutes
Step 11
Remove from the oven and rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing
