Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200 Celsius

Cream butter sugar and lemon rind
Step 3
Add egg yolks and beat in, then add milk and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and mix well
Step 4
Whisk egg whites in separate bowel until stiff then add the rest of the mixture. Mix well but don’t over mix. Pour into buttered oven dish. Put the dish in a roasting tin with a third water then bake for 45 minutes until top is set, spongy and golden
