Instructions

Step 1
Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat, add bacon and cook until fat is rendered, and bacon begins to color (about 6 minutes)

Drain off fat, add shallots and cook 1 minute

Add cream and bring to a gentle boil

Turn off heat and add sundried tomatoes

Meanwhile cook linguini in a large pot of boiling salt water until al dente. Drain well.
Step 6
Combine linguini and sauce in the pot add cheese, stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper, serve with pine nuts, additional cheese, and chopped parsley.
