Ingredients

2 poundsflank steak
4garlic cloves
minced
1lime juiced
1orange
juiced
1jalapeño
cored and finely minced
1 cupfresh cilantro
finely-chopped
½ cupolive oil
1 tablespoonchili powder
1 tablespoonground cumin
1 tablespoondried oregano
1 tablespoonsalt
pepper
1 tablespoongarlic powder
1onion
2 tablespoonsmayo
1 cuplettuce
shredded
1tomato
thinly sliced
smoked mozzarella
sliced
sub rolls
Instructions
Step 1
Marinated: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together all you seasonings in a bowls including the fresh garlic, jalapeños, and cilantro. Marinate the steak. Place the steak in a zip lock bag pour the marinade evenly over the steak, and toss the steak until it is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 to 4 hours or over night for better results. before cooking , take the steak out and let it get to room temperature. Take the steak out of the marinade and transfer the meat onto a clean plate.
Step 2
Heat up a cast iron pan to a medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 8-10 minutes per side. Transfer to plate and let it rest for at least 10 minutes, this will help seal in all those good juices. Then slice the steak against the grain as thickly or thinly as you prefer. Or you can dice the steak into small pieces like Chipotle lol.
Step 3
Toast your sub roll assemble your sandwich using the Mayo, lettuce, tomato, and smoked mozzarella. Anddd Enjoy!!!!
