Ingredients
1 servings
1 TblsDried Arame Seaweed
1 TblsCornstarch
1 tspsesame oil
1 Tbspolive oil
1onion
finely chopped
2garlic cloves
crushed and finely chopped
ginger
peeled and finely chopped
1carrot
julienne cut
1yellow peppers
or orange, deseeded and finely sliced
100gchinese cabbage
finely sliced
1 handfulsnow peas
1 cupbean sprouts
1 Tbsptamari sauce
1 tspapple cider vinegar
1 Tbsphoney
½ cupcashew nuts
Instructions
Step 1
Soak the arame in a bowl of cold water for about 30minutes, then drain and rinse.
Step 2
Make a paste with the cornstarch by mixing it with 1 tablespoon of water.
Step 3
In a wok, stir-fry the onions for about 1 minute, using water. Add the ginger and garlic.
Step 4
Add the carrot, peppers and cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Add the mange tout and arame and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.
Step 6
In a cup mix the Tamari, apple cider vinegar, honey and corn flour.
Step 7
Pour over stir-fry and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
Step 8
Stir in the cashew nuts and serve with extra Tamari if desired.
