Ingredients
4 servings

0.5 poundpenne pasta
or bowtie

1 lbmeat
chicken, shrimp or keilbasa pair well

2Red peppers
whole, julenned

0.5sweet onion
julienned

¼ cwhite wine

4 Tbspbutter

3cloves garlic
minced

1 TbspCajun seasoning
or all purpose spicy seasoning

½ tsppaprika

⅔ cheavy cream

½ cparmesan
grated, plus more for garnish

2 Tbsplemon juice
Instructions
Step 1
Cook seasoned meat and peppers/onions or other veggies of your choice and remove from pan, set aside
Step 2
• Deglaze the skillet with white wine and cook until reduced by about half. Stir in butter and let melt, then garlic, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Cook, stirring often, until the suace is well blended.
Step 3
• Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and lemon juice and simmer until sauce is slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Check for seasoning and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 4
• Turn off heat and add meat and cooked pasta. Toss until evenly combined. Garnish with green onion and Parmesan if desired.
