Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*F.

Mixture 1: Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk & set aside. (Tip: Heat in microwave for 60 seconds, stir, repeat until melted.)

Mixture 2: Melt in separate large glass bowl: 1 stick of butter.

Mixture 2: Add cake mix & 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Mix.
Step 5
Press 1/2 of mixture 2 into 9x13 pan & bake for 6 minutes @ 350*F.

Step 6
Remove pan from oven.
Step 7
Pour bag of chocolate chips on top. (Distribute evenly.)
Step 8
Drizzle mixture 1 (caramel mixture) on top. (Distribute evenly.)
Step 9
Press remainder of mixture 2 on top of that.
Step 10
Bake for 16 minutes at 350*F.

Remove from oven and let cool before cutting.
