Instructions
Step 1
In a large non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Step 2
Then add garlic, peppers, and bay leaf and saute until peppers have just begun to soften, about 4 minutes.
Step 3
(If garlic begins to brown and burn, reduce heat.)
Step 4
Add beans, sage, and hot pepper sauce and saute until heated through, about 3 minutes.
Step 5
Remove bay leaf and serve hot as an appetizer or side dish with garlic bread or warm, soft corn tortillas.
