Step 1
1. Cook or bake bacon til crispy. Set aside

Melt butter in a dutch oven, over medium heat
Whisk

Whisk in flour, stirring constantly until lightly browned, about 1 minute

Gradually whisk in the milk until slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 5
Add the potatoes.
Step 6
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer, until potatoes are tender, around 15-20 minutes or longer if needed. Stir to keep from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
