Instructions
Step 1
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook fettuccine until at dente
Step 2
In a separate pan, drizzle olive oil and saute minced garlic over medium heat.
Step 3
Slice ends off of the green beans and chop them like green onions. Add chopped green beans and leeks to the garlic and saute for another 10 minutes
Step 4
Remove green beans from heat and toss together with strained fettuccine. Add in the butter and continue to toss until all butter is melted and all fettuccine is coated.
Step 5
Plate the fettuccine and top with basil and parmesan cheese.
Step 6
Optional: slice mushrooms and add them and white wine to the garlic before the green beans. Also, for a touch of heat you can add a couple pinches of red pepper flakes.
