⅓ cuphoney

2 tablespoonsgluten free soy sauce

1 tablespoonapple cider vinegar

1 teaspoonsesame oil

½ teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes

½ cupcornstarch

2 tablespoonsbrown sugar

1egg
whisked

1 poundboneless skinless chicken breasts
sliced into cubes

3 tablespoonsolive oil

1thai chili pepper
seeded & sliced

3cloves garlic
minced

2 tablespoonsgreen onions
diced
Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk the honey, gluten free soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil and red pepper flakes together, set the bowl aside.
Step 2
Combine the cornstarch and brown sugar in a shallow bowl or on a rimmed plate.
Step 3
Place the whisked egg in a separate shallow bowl.
Step 4
Add the chicken to the egg, then coat it in the cornstarch mixture.
Step 5
Add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 6
Add the chili pepper, garlic and coated chicken.
Step 7
Cook the chicken until slightly brown on all sides.
Step 8
Pour the honey sauce over the chicken, sauté 2-3 minutes.
Step 9
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet and simmer for 6-8 minutes.
Step 10
Top with the diced green onions and serve.
