2 tspdried rosemary

830mlvegetable broth
divided
907gchicken thighs
boneless and skinless

Dumplings
260gcake flour
20gbaking powder
6gwhite sugar
4gsalt
60mlvegetable oil
½ tspdried basil
½ tspdried rosemary
garlic powder
¾ cupnon-dairy milk
Instructions
Step 1
Add carrots, celery, potatoes, garlic, basil, rosemary, bay leaf and salt with half the vegetable broth to the slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour.
Step 2
Make slurry with flour and remaining vegetable broth. Add to slow cooker.
Step 3
Add frozen peas and mushrooms and stir. Place chicken pieces in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
Dumplings
Step 4
For dumplings, mix all dumpling ingredients to form soft dough.
Step 5
Spoon dumpling mixture on top of stew in 8 large spoonfuls. Cook uncovered on HIGH for 30 minutes. Cover and cook 45 more minutes until dumplings are firm and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
