Was looking at some Hawaii memories and was craving the garlic shrimp so of course had to make for dinner. That butter sauce all over the rice 👌🏽👌🏽

Step 1
1. Butterfly and devein shrimp, keeping shell on to help absorb flavor

2. Coat with flour, corn starch, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

3. Shallow fry until shell crisps and shrimp becomes opaque in color, flipping as needed
Step 4
4. Remove and let excess oil dry off on paper towels or food drying rack
Step 5
5. In a separate pan add butter, garlic, and fresh squeezed lemon juice
Step 6
6. Sauté on medium heat until garlic becomes golden, constantly watching to prevent burning
Step 7
7. Turn off the heat and add in the fried shrimp from earlier
Step 8
Coat well and plate
