Instructions

Step 1
1️⃣ Firstly, place the cucumber between two chopsticks (this stops you cutting all the way through)
Step 2
2️⃣ Slice cucumber vertically first, then turn the cucumber over and slice diagonally
Step 3
3️⃣ Add to a mixing bowl with a generous pinch of salt (this helps to draw out the moisture from the cucumber)
Step 4
4️⃣ In a separate bowl/jar add tamari + maple syrup + sesame oil + + vinegar + chilli flakes + sesame seeds and mix/shake
Step 5
5️⃣ Rinse and drain the cucumber, pat dry with some kitchen towel, place back into the mixing bowl along with the sauce and stir to combine.
