Instructions
Step 1
In a large pot, cook ground beef and onions over medium high heat until browned.
Step 2
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional two or three minutes. Carefully drain any excess fat.
Step 3
Add the diced tomatoes, beans, spices, and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Add the pasta and cook it as normal.
Step 5
Stir in cheese and cook for 5 more minutes until thickened.
