Step 1
1) Start by cutting the tofu in rectangle shapes. Set them aside. Prepare an anchovy-kelp broth or a veggie broth with shitake mushroom and radish.

2) In a bowl, mix gochgaru, soy sauce, sugar, shrimp paste and sesame oil.

3) Cut onion and scallion into slices.
Step 4
4) Transfer the onion slices into a pan and spread out evenly.
Step 5
5) Put the tofu slices on top of the onions. Add the sauce.
Step 6
6) Pour the broth from 1) over the tofu mix and let it cook for 6-8 minutes.
Step 7
7) Make a quick taste check and add seasoning to your liking. Top off with sliced scallion and perilla leaves.
Step 8
Serve with rice and enjoy 🥰
