Cajun Shrimp Boil

Been playing around with shrimp boils trying to perfect it. Sometimes my shrimp doesn’t stick to the skin and sometimes it does whether its overcooked, undercooked, over perfectly cooked. If anyone has methods they do for their boils, please share!

Ingredients

Boil Water
Cajun Garlic Butter
1 Tbspoil
8 ozsalted butter
¼ cupgarlic
chopped
2 Tbspcrab paste
oil
¼ cupcajun spice blend
6 ozsparkling coconut water

Instructions
Step 1
1. Prepare shrimp by deveining and cleaning
Step 2
2. In a pot, add water, boil oil, cajun spice blend, fresh squeezed lemon, and potatoes
Step 3
3. Let come to a boil
Step 4
4. Once potatoes are cooked through, cut the heat and allow to slightly cool for 2-4 minutes
Step 5
5. Add the shrimp to soak and cook for 1 minute ensuring it does not over cook
Step 6
6. Remove shrimp and potatoes and set aside
Step 7
7. In another pan, add oil, butter, and garlic
Step 8
8. Sauté until fragrant
Step 9
9. Add in crab paste oil, cajun spice blend, coconut soda and mix well
Step 10
10. Allow sauce to thicken to desired consistency
Step 11
11. Cut the heat, add the shrimp and potatoes and incorporate
Step 12
12. Serve and enjoy
