For the sauce
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and grate them using a box grater with large holes. Be careful not to cut your fingers.
Step 2
Place the grated potatoes in a strainer and let the juice drain into a bowl for about 10 minutes. The potato starch will settle at the bottom of the bowl.
Step 3
Remove the juice and keep the potato starch in the bowl.
Step 4
Add the grated onion, chopped chili pepper, chopped green onions, and a pinch of salt to the bowl with the potato starch and mix well.
Step 5
Heat a frying pan over medium heat with vegetable oil. Place a scoop of the batter into the pan and spread it out evenly.
Step 6
Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Step 7
To make the sauce, mix soy sauce, white vinegar, coarsely chopped onion, and chili pepper in a bowl.
Step 8
Serve the potato pancakes hot with the sauce on the side. Enjoy!
