Vorschmack or forshmak (from archaic German Vorschmack, "foretaste" or "appetizer") is an originally East European dish made of salty minced fish or meat. Different variants of this dish are especially common in Ashkenazi Jewish and Finnish cuisine. Some varieties are also known in Ukrainian, Polish and Russian cuisine.

Instructions
Step 1
Clean out the herring, remove skin and bones. Cut into medium pieces
Step 2
Peel the apple, remove seeds and cut it in 4 pieces

Boil 4 eggs for 12min
Step 4
Peel the onion and cut it into 4 pieces
Step 5
Put all these ingredients into a blender and run it until smooth
Step 6
Add warm butter and mix again
Step 7
Add salt and pepper to taste
Step 8
Serve with parsley and dark bread
